As Founding Principal of Ziegler Cooper Architects and leader of the Urban Architecture Studio, Scott has developed his design expertise across a diverse range of complex project types, including high-density mixed-use, high-rise commercial and residential, hospitality, and retail developments. He is also a thought leader on the subject of urbanism.
As Urban Residential Practice Area Leader, Scott plays an active role in shaping the urban landscape through his work and published writings on sustainable urban growth strategies and high-density mixed-use development. His urban residential experience spans low-rise, mid-rise, and high-rise developments, working alongside respected industry-leading developers to create thoughtful, enduring places.
With 50 years of total professional experience, including 49 years with Ziegler Cooper Architects, Scott brings a long-term perspective to projects that balance density, design, development goals, and the broader urban context.
