Ken Sandlin, AIA, RAS, is an Associate Principal in Ziegler Cooper Architects' Urban Architecture Studio with nearly 40 years of experience spanning all phases of architectural practice.
Ken earned his Bachelor of Architecture as an honors graduate from the University of Houston and joined Ziegler Cooper in 2018. His experience spans projects completed across more than 20 states, with expertise across all phases of architectural practice.
Ken has a proven track record of developing CAD and document standards that increase operational effectiveness and position organizations for sustained success. His commitment to continuing education and learning has also allowed him to build extensive experience with technology throughout the AEC industry.
As ZCA's Accessibility Subject Matter Expert, Ken consults with staff and clients to determine compliance with TAS, IBC Chapter 11, ANSI A117.1, FHA, and UFAS requirements, providing a strong foundation for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Whether working on a project or solving problems at home, Ken is constantly creating solutions to complex challenges.
