With 18 years of professional experience, including 17 years with Ziegler Cooper Architects, Axel has developed a diverse knowledge base that allows him to anticipate challenges and find creative solutions for complex projects.

As a Principal and Design Director in Ziegler Cooper Architects’ Urban Residential Studio, Axel works closely with clients and project teams from project inception through final construction. He leads the design process with a focus on thoughtful, responsive solutions tailored to each client’s unique goals, while maintaining design integrity throughout every stage of a project.

His experience spans complex urban residential, mixed-use, and multifamily developments, with a particular focus on projects that require a thoughtful response to their surrounding context and the demands of urban development.
