Chandler Johnson, AIA

Chandler earned his Master of Architecture from the University of Houston in 2017 and joined Ziegler Cooper Architects in 2018. His early experience includes an internship with Overland Partners Architects in San Antonio and collaboration with the UH Graduate Design Build Studio in Houston—both of which deepened his passion for shaping the built environment.

Drawn to the expressive power of architecture, Chandler was particularly inspired during his graduate studies by the refined minimalism of Tadao Ando and the bold, innovative work of global designers such as Bjarke Ingels and Winy Maas. These influences continue to inform his design sensibilities today.

As a Senior Project Architect, Chandler supports the Senior Project Manager through the production of technical documentation and specifications, consultant coordination, and overall project delivery. He also plays a key leadership role during the construction phase, ensuring that design intent and quality are maintained through completion.
