This contemporary medical office building, for a clinic and an ambulatory surgery center, is a three-story steel structure on a tight urban site. The first floor is half clinic space and half covered parking. Additional parking can be found at the rear of the building with leased parking across the street. The exterior is cladding is predominantly white metal panels, zinc panels, and tinted glass. The two-story glazed corner atrium, accented with horizontal sun shading fins, gives the building its featured identity. Existing mature live oak trees, carefully protected during construction, give visual separation from the adjacent boulevard.
The 19,000-square-foot Wellness Center is poised to become a cornerstone for health and community engagement. Designed with a robust steel frame and a structural slab foundation to address challenging soil conditions, the facility blends functionality with forward-thinking design. Inside, the center is thoughtfully organized into three dynamic areas: a Wellness Center featuring a state-of-the-art therapy department and a dedicated indoor therapy pool for aquatic rehabilitation, an Education Center designed for public programs, and a versatile Medical Office suite supporting a rotating specialist clinic and Behavioral Health Department. Enhancing accessibility and connectivity, the design incorporates two welcoming covered driveways for public arrival and covered staff walkways that link seamlessly to the hospital. Currently, the project remains on track to be delivered on time, Spring of 2026, and within budget—underscoring a commitment to precision, efficiency, and exceptional community care.
