GDF SUEZ Energy North America
Based in Houston, GDF SUEZ Energy North America, Inc. is responsible for managing GDF SUEZ Energy North America, Inc.´s positions within the energy value chain in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, including electricity generation and cogeneration, natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG), renewable resources, asset-based trading and origination, and retail energy sales and related services to commercial and industrial customers.
GDF SUEZ Energy North America, Inc. hired Ziegler Cooper Architects to provide design services for a concurrent occupancy renovation to their Corporate office in Houston located in the Galleria area. The renovation included upgrading 118,101 square feet of general office areas as well as the design of a new conference center.
The conference center features a large boardroom outfitted with a custom table that seats twenty-five (plus banquette seating) and a telepresence room dedicated to high-end videoconferencing that replicates face-to-face communication virtually, thereby eliminating the cost and time of long distance travel.
General office upgrades included a redesigned break room, upgraded reception, a wood paneled executive corridor, open office desking, private offices and a help desk area to accommodate twenty IT people.
