Weil Gotshal & Manges

Weil, Gotshal & Manges, a provider of international legal services, contracted Ziegler Cooper Architects to provide design services for their expansion and concurrent occupancy renovation for their Houston location. Located in the Bank of America building downtown, the 2-floor office space was given an updated look that redefined the local office brand.

The new look embraces a forward thinking design with strong geometric form and bold colorful artwork. The lobby features a central wall of red glass tile and a mahogany reception desk. A decorative marble star is inset to the floor and features a triad of colors that harmonize with the surrounding palette.

The heartbeat of the office is a main conference room off the lobby surrounded by floor to ceiling curved glass walls that go frosted at the flip of a switch. This high-tech glass is also incorporated into additional smaller conference rooms throughout the space. Notable features in the conference room are an oversized mahogany conference table that seats eighteen and video-conferencing capabilities.

All new finishes and furniture were incorporated throughout the space and modular secretary workstations were used for ease of flexibility and cost savings benefits.
