Ziegler Cooper Architects was recently selected by Thomas Properties Group to redevelop Brookhollow Central and enhance the property´s competitive positioning in Houston´s North Loop office market. This three-building complex totals 797,971 square feet and is located in the Northwest submarket near the intersection of Loop 610 and US 290. Brookhollow I is an 11-story, rectangular building built in 1972. Brookhollow II is a 14-story, elliptical building built in 1979. Brookhollow III is a 12-story, dual-elliptical building built in 1981.
After an intense evaluation of existing conditions, Ziegler Cooper made recommendations to transform the three-building, campus dramatically. Updates include renovating architectural components such as building glass, entrance portals, lobby finishes, the garage-building connector, typical floor restrooms, corridors and elevator lobbies. In addition, the redevelopment scope also includes critical mechanical upgrades, updated environmental graphics, vertical transportation improvements, garage upgrades and new landscaping.
